Located in Acusyu Sector along the Corporate Trade Route in the Republic Territory not far the Three Suns System. The Gullet is a cluster of Black Holes that are only visible by the ionized gases that are being pulled into it. Consisting of 9 black holes, 3 big, 6 smallers, this formation attracts both scientists and tourists from all across the galaxy. This section of the Acusyu Sector famous for this and its spectacular Nebulae clusters still baffle scientists and historians today. According to many scientists, the Gullet formation isn't natural as the varying sizes of the black holes would normally engulf each other into one super big blackhole, but these seem idle and don't move at all which puzzles the scientists. Despite the powerful gravitational forces that these galactic formations have they still bring a magnificent attraction for tourists.

The Gullet Cluster

Folklore
It is believed that the Gullet was formed like many believed, the Intelonians due to their advanced knowledge they had they believe they were able to create black holes at their control, some believed the Galactic Dragon Intelus (Republic's name for it) created the formation while others believe it was an experiment gone terribly wrong that created the cluster. Even the belief of an "exo-galactic" species created them by pulling other black holes from across the galaxy or universe and placed them in that specific spot as a memory of their achievement. What the folklore or belief on how this formation was created still baffles scientists even today.

The Ventrus Run
The Ventrus Run or originally called Prisoner's Loop is a popular race that happens every year in the Republic and its one of the only races that haven't been outlawed aswell. This annual run starts off from Torbin near the Drailkian Sector then curves its way around the Corporate Trade Route there it approaches the Gullet where racers have to be careful when traversing or get caught in the black holes. From there it loops around the Founder's Triangle and ends at Tretris Ventrus in the Three Suns System. This race was started when a series of prison escapes happened on the moon of Torbin, prisoners scattered across the Corporate Trade Route trying to escape, one escapee Zenner "Two-Tails" used a specific route to elude the cops, traversing in a series of curves along the Corporate Trade, he lured the cops into the Gullet where most broke off to avoid being pulled in, eventually leaving the cluster where he was chased into the Founder's Triangle after looping the Triangle for awhile he made his escape to Tretris Ventrus where he lived for 2 years before finally being caught by the police. This route became known as more prisoners used it to escape naming it the "Prisoner's Loop". Eventually after the whole incident and the prisons were transfered to more secluded places, the route that was used was later used in racing by ex-cons that missed the rush of the chase. Eventually the route became the Ventrus Run where racers from all across the galaxy come to compete for the cash that was held at the end.

The Gullet today still attracts many tourists, racers and scientists. Here from the Magnificent view of the black holes to the dangerous routes of the Ventrus Run, The Gullet remains the most magnificent tourist spot in the entire Whirlpool Galaxy.
