Unconventional I know, but I'm tossing a wide net here!

Back when I was younger (and had more free time) I was a huge geek for online role-playing. I was a part of a free-form chat for many years and met a ton of interesting characters, the people behind them, and we played out all kinds of crazy adventures.

I've had the itch to RP again recently, and I'm having a really hard time finding someplace to play that isn't already set into an established setting or fandom. There are lots of animal-only RPs out there but I tend to enjoy playing human or human-ish characters more often than not, so that counts me out!

So, I figured that I would reach out to people online and see if anyone would be interested in starting a fun, PG-rated RP via IMs or whatever. I don't have a setting in mind but I lean toward more medieval-through-1800's settings, anywhere from jungles to steampunk cities.

Any type of character would be welcome, as long as it's an original character. As I said I lean more toward human-ish characters (elves, demons, etc) but furry characters are totally welcome! I would love to maybe get a group together eventually to have little adventures or whatever. :3

I'm a total nerd.

One caveat: you must be able to spell decently and have good grammar. No one has fun when they're trying to muddle through a post.
