FUCKING YES! uh... for the uh... laptop thing and well, the ants are like moron politicians, cant get rid of them

try this: mix dish-washing soap with water in a hair-mister bottle (about 1 parts soap, 5 parts water), then go spray their trails. The scent of the dish soap will overpower their scent trails, and any who get the dish soap on them and make it back to the nest will be cleaned upon entry - and then that cleaner ant will clean other ants with the soapy discharge. eventually the corrosive nature of soap will burn away at their insides, eyes, and their antennae - resulting in a colony collapse and massive casualties. DO this for a week or two, and not only will your house smell lemony fresh (or the scent of your choosing) but it should also drastically dwindle their numbers.

Just be sure to keep it up. Spray at least 3 times a day on the areas (just a few sprits, nothing severe), and just wait it out.

If you really want to get rid of the ants, you should get scented Glue traps. They work really well and are more guaranteed than depending on a spray that only baits them to come out so you can hose them down directly (Which is what you are supposed to do, but many aren't smart enough to read the directions on a can)
