Quick Status

It's been about a month now since my last journal, so I figured I'd give you guys another quick update on what's going on, so you're not waiting fruitlessly.
I have moved in now and am settling in rather well. I don't have my own place yet, that might take a while longer, but I'm fairly comfortable as it is. I have also started the job and things are going smoothly, not very stressful. I'm going to be changing schedules as it is, so I can't get too comfortable just yet, but the newer schedule will be better for me anyways.
As for Nimin, I'm actually looking to start doing a bit more coding this weekend. Can't do much during the week just yet, since I'll be changing schedules as I said, but things are starting to get back into gear.
As for the other game, I'm not too worried about working on it much. I actually have most of the engine written out already, it's just a matter of actually writing things up, which I'll do as I feel in the mood for them, so that won't be out for a while, if ever.
So yeah, things are going well and getting back under way. It's just going to take a while longer for another Nimin update since I wasn't able to do much while packing and whatnot and am just now starting to put thoughts into it again.

And I'm loving the new version. Just almost wish there were bovines as well. I kinda like minotaurs, as you could guess. *eyes my avatar* But the Equines and Lupines are awesome.
I started learning to code in the Computer class back in high school; starting with Q-Basic and Visual Basic, learning the basics of programming logic. Did a little more in college for a simple class, did a little more for my astrophysical research. Then I saw Fenoxo's Unnamed Text Game, said "Oh, that's something I have tried to do for a pen and paper game, but Flash is so much more suitable, this is brilliant!", grabbed the code he posted for people to use, read through it to understand how Flash works, and have been Googling for all sorts of different methods and whatnot. I have a good sense of logic and math, so coding comes rather naturally to me. Nimin is a Flash game and thus it was made in Adobe Flash, using the Actionscript 3 language.
