New Commission Options?
Hey guys!
Commissions are still open for anyone interested, please don't be shy to contact me, as I am working through my queue very quickly and my turnaround has been so fast that I am running out of stuff to work on! c:
I wanted to ask everyone about my currently available commission options. I realize that of all that I have to offer, there really aren't many examples of things I can do for around the $20-40 price range, and I feel that is a huge oversight on my part. I'd like to come up with a couple of things to fill that gap, and I'm hoping you can give me your opinions on a couple ideas I've been brainstorming, as well as offer up any other ideas you might like to see!
So far, I've thought of:
Small digital speed paintings.
Uncoloured pencil sketches(I already offer coloured sketches, but uncoloured would be more affordable.)
Printable bookmarks.
Mock black and white comic panel "portraits" that could be used as icons, ID images, and badges.
What do you guys think? Should I come up with samples for each one of these? Do any of them sound interesting to you?
Thanks for your feedback! :D

For what it's worth.. maybe some line-art? I have no idea though because it's all up to you and what you consider to be 20-40 dollars worth of your time. I know it isn't going to be the 150+ dollars worth of work you normally do.. but still what you do always comes out amazing in the end.
Perhaps a flat color option. Or a sketch with one base color and a side color for small marks.
I think you might already have a chibi option. If not.. perhaps one of those?
Maybe the opposite of chibi since those are just majorly cute renditions.. maybe some deviant chibis like.. I dunno bad guy versions or punk style so that it's not all cutesy like a normal Chibi
Black and white bust with greyscale shading as an option?
Maybe a grab-bag type drawing where you get to chose randomly what gets drawn and what to do with it, i.e. color options or whatever..
I'm trying to help by brainstorming but my ideas are poop x.x;
I'd like to offer shaded busts, but it's very unlikely that I could do something like that for less than $40. Same with line work, since it is really time consuming. If I was doing a bust I might be able to manage that with flat colour and line work within that price range.
The idea of a two-toned sketch would be totally do-able, and likely for $30-35.
Ahhh thank you for these great ideas! :D
I'd buy one of those personally. I have all sorts of characters in my head but I'd like a much better artist than I to have a crack at representing them, and I'd prefer a few doodles that show off the character not just outside, but also inside, as opposed to one full image striking a "yo, check out my anatomy" pose.
Call 'em sketch pages or doodle pages or general concept sheets with about a minute or two for each bit. Just don't spend anything near the amount of time you usually would - something justifying the 20-40 range. Or whatever fits what you'd reckon your hourly rate is! I'm thinking of things one would put in a notebook's margin out of boredom, if that makes sense.
I HOPE THIS IDEA ISNT LAME AS SHIT
I ACTUALLY WANNA PAY FOR ONE NOW but I have yet to transfer money to my paypal -3- SOOO if the offer's open later on, I'll definitely poke you for one when I can! :>
So far all your ideas are pretty solid and many people would be interested in your work, I think :3
Thank you for your honest feedback!
My current price sheet is here( http://www.furaffinity.net/full/10155073/ ), but like I stated in the journal, I'm working on coming up with more options in the $20-40 range. c:
What about if I get an icon. Think I want one of those :3
May I asked an estimated finish time ? :)
What about weekly/monthly specials? You pick a theme (say, drool or genderswap, monthly emotion, whatever)and offer five/ten slots in that theme (for whatever price, say $25).
I thought about doing that, but I'm not sure I can afford to do a big sale each month just yet. Those $10 icons are about the best I can do in terms of a sale item, and there's not too much sense in offering something as a special at no discount that I can do any other time of the month, yeknow? I'm still going to think on it, since I've had it in mind for a while, I'm just not sure the business is financially stable enough yet to risk working at a discount.
