So yeah I'm turning into a vegetarian or something :P

Purifying the body and whatnot.
Seems the only way to maximize health is to be primarily vegetarion and reduce meat consumption down to 1-2 servings a week. When and what those are are of course determined by the body itself.
Oh and I'm starting to unlock my chi flow. There's some neat effects to it that's for sure. It's not even very hard, who'd have thought. Just need to stick with it and push myself more each day.

I'll be sitting over here enjoying my factory-farm-murder burger with extra ketchup.
;3
Tastes like eggplant
But meat
... tastes like murder. And murder tastes pretty damn good.
People
Eating
Tasty
Animals.
Also, meat is murder. Juicy, delicious murder.
D:
But if you regulate it it'd be just right. Besides, an overload is better than absolutely none. That way you're at least getting some, hehe.
I'm just saying, don't cut it COMPLETELY out of your life; although that is your decision if you do. :)
Sorry, doing lots of stuff here, it's getting to my head. :P

i bet i could make cardboard tasty too ;3
Is it really flavor we're going for? or just the eating of assigned a name as something?
Is it really just... about getting the Dopamine flowing?
What is food anyway? ...
the whole process of eating is drudgery to me sometimes. I get bored of it. Unless i got a good amount of EndoCannabinoids in me. meh

I've been a fruitarian for a few weeks
Eat chicken and fish.
my bro was really into fruits for a bit, take it easy on em or you'll get loads of cavities like he did :P
Personally I need to improve my diet, I eat too many meats and starches and not enough fruits and veggies... Also, because of the fact that I'm working and don't really get a lunch break, my eating schedule's become a lot more erratic. =(
As for a gradual decline into death being an integral part of life: I don't buy into that :3
However, be veeery careful. Avoid Soy like the plague. It will starve your body of nutrients and make it impossible to digest anything. Also DO NOT avoid animal oils and fats. Fats do not harm the body, they are extremely hard to digest and thus do not form new fat unless you do not move at all (like you are in a coma) and in the meantime deliver VERY essential oils to lubricate joints, muscles, and brain tissue. Also do not starve yourself of energy, you CANNOT subsist on plant matter, you are not physically designed to be able to survive on it. Herbivores are very specialized species that can gain full nutrition from plants, we are not they. We MUST eat a decent share of animal matter but it by no means needs to be beef, pork, or chicken, fish is the best if you can get it.
Remember the golden rule of the Omnivore, eat a little of everything, never stick to one thing too long. Moderation will be the key in all eating.
I only warn you about this because I am friends with a Doctor who has 2 PHD's in Food Interactions and an MD and he witnessed people go vegetarian and ruin their bodies several times. In two cases it lead to the death of the patients and left him feeling some personal responsibility for not FORCING them to eat appropriately. Going completely carnivore or herbivore is a dangerous thing for a human to do, just take a nice in between road and stay the course and you will be happy, healthy and, wise.
As for releasing your Chi, do be a little bit careful about what negative thoughts you think towards yourself or others while exercising that, it can lead to bad results and people do it all the time subconsciously. On the flip side try experimenting with positive thoughts and see how it can help but keep in mind the soul does not understand "negatives" like "no, not, etc..". In other words, say "I am healthy!" not "I am not sick!" because the latter translates as "I am sick!".
Better prefer organic-made complete bread and pasta's, organic-made fruits and vegetables. Always avoid GMO's from Monsanto and shit like that: there's still roundup remnants in the product - and soils keep poisoned by remnants during many years. Also, chicken is maybe the worst meat ever, except if it comes from little producers.
Fish, alas, with the global over-fishing, must come from local fishermen. No shushi and fishticks: big lobbies are EMPYING the sea! And there are ore and more places where fish is more and more polluted.
Uh yeah, my choices are even more envirnmentalist than health-related.
you know, stuff like that, alot of stuff tastes nasty, i tried vegi cheese and found it sucks, and you can use fat free cheese for the same calories, smart dogs (vegi hotdogs) were...nothing...really, no taste...how ever that was just one brand and im going to try some others...
not that this is some moral thing about how meat is murder...no, meat, its whats for dinner, well, actually i usually have peanut butter sandwiches for dinner but i digress... and its not because i think the industry is gross and doesnt clean things properly..no, its just healthier and lower cal, and im watching my weight for right now...
BTW, I read an article that said meat consumption (and B12) are related to brain shrinkage in the old age--if you don't have either, goodbye dolly :o
Just remember that, when you're old 8)
please tell? ;_;
Sit up straight on a chair. Don't rest your back.
place right hand at throat level in front of you and left at navel level, palms facing each other. Imagine you're holding a big ball. Have the hands not touch your body and then hold them like that for about an hour. Now here's the weird thing, if you have your feet planted nothing will happen; raise your heels so only the balls of your feet are touching the ground. You should also have your eyes closed. Do it somewhere private and quiet.
It takes about 10 minutes for the flow to start. You'll start getting really hot and sweating profusely for a short while. Then you'll start moving uncontrollably and feel a current flowing through your body. Various other effects will also begin.
Just remember to not stop abruptly instead tell yourself to slow down and place your hands on your belly, left on top of right, palms on navel.
I tried for 25 minutes with my heels down and nothing happened; picked up and within 5 minutes things were going crazy.
Other features include: speaking in tongues, uncontrollable laughter, orgasms, loss of the control of your limbs, bleeding from the head. Didn't have those happen tho, cuz i only went for 20 mins :3
Basically the pose sets your body into a circuit and your arms act as cathode and anode. The feet and heels act as a switch.
Now that I've seen footage of 3 different people all capable of setting things on fire with their bare hands I'm kind of convinced :D
the precognition has already been addressed in one of my previous journals.
Not that it matters anyway, I plan on being able to do it whether its believable or not :3
HEE NEEDS ONE >:O
And the reason none of them has won the Randi Prize is...?
My suspicion is that they can't do it when there is someone there who knows how all the tricks are done and how to make them not work. I know of two or three "contact ignition" tricks that would work live, never mind on video.
Not that you need to get fancy to be a success, Geller's been doing the same handful of minor tricks for how long now?
A page that describes that? I'd love to link to it for my blog.

I know we all hear the mantras of vegetarianism... "it's healthier" "it won't support cruel treatment of animals" "humans are no longer meant to survive on it"
but has ANYONE provided any real proof?
Personally I feel that vegetarianism is just another way for people to feel special, to feel above others.. to feel like they have privileged knowledge/enlightenment.
But there are FACTS supporting the eating of meat (including red meats).
No one is saying having a HEAVY meat diet is healthy, but going down to two servings a week?
Are you really so delusional as to think that a couple of servings a week will have any real affect on your health? You might as WELL go all the way and stop eating it all together (which is incredibly UNhealthy)
Your body will digest those two-servings-per-week so fast (especially if you are sanctioning your body from it on a regular basis) that it will have NO health benefits as compared to eating it in regulation EVERY DAY.
Meat doesn't just have protein... it is filled with lots of different vitamins and important amino acids. There is a reason why so many vegetarians look under-nourished and jaundiced.
I also learned a while ago not to believe any of that stuff about vital nutrients and amino acids and trans fats and crap after learning that those were developed as marketing terms to avoid saying things like "Don't eat so much red meat".
Most nutritional science these days is basic at best and only scratches the surface about how foods interact with the body. No matter how many vitamins and minerals you shove into a processed meal you're not going to get any healthier.
That isn't corporate bullshit, that's called science.
Are you a nutritional scientist? Do you REALLY have a grasp on how far our technology and understanding of the human body has come?
Are you a doctor?
It's plainly obvious you are picking and choosing your "proof" (I say in jest because your proof is more of a subjective opinion) to fit what you "feel".
However "feel" is not proof, it is not science, and it is not fact.
Do you really want to base your health, your life, on biased, unsubstantiated feelings?
And lastly, how does adding vitamins not make something healthier?
Any "healthy" vegan takes TONS of vitamins (the same vitamins you claim have no health benefit).
You may have well just said "vitamins are unnecessary to the development of a healthy body."
You also do not get a list of all nutrients that something contains nor do you get any idea of how those all work together. Assuming that we already know everything is a big mistake.
Why don't you give the EXPERTS some credit for their life long discoveries?
http://www.tara-source.com/Nutritio.....e/meatgrp.html
That is a decent enough source explaining what nutritious substances are in meat and other "protein" products.
Synthetic vitamins can't compare to a natural diet of meat because they don't digest the same way. It is easier for our body to accept the nutrients provided in the meat because of how our body digests it.
And besides, just because it is healthy to take a daily vitamin doesn't mean it's unhealthy to eat essential nutrients through natural products.
Humans are really no different than other animals on this earth. We do possess a greater capacity for abstract thought, but our bodies are just like that of any other animal.
There are carnivores, omnivores, and vegetarian animals out there... but it isn't on an individual animal basis, it is determined by species.
Bears have sharp teeth and rounded flat teeth because they are omnivores.
Rabbits have incisors and flat molars because they grind vegetables.
Sharks have a full mouth of sharp chompers because they are carnivores.
What do humans have?
Incisors, canines, and molars.
Hence, we are omnivores.
THAT is fact and there is no reasonable argument against it.
There is no shame in eating another animal because that animal provided important, necessary nutrition for us. It is called survival, it's called nature.
because two servings a week is NOT reasonable
and because I don't want to see people make dumb decisions that may harm their health/well being =P
i don't see Chi anywhere in there
I'm going to dinner now, and i will eat a huge mass of:
triglycerides, Monoesters, fatty acids ranging from 6 to 26 carbons, Acetylcholine, Leucine, Glycine, Alanine, Methionine, etc. Allyl Methyl Disulfide, Dimethyl Sulfoxide, 2-PyrazinylEthaneThiol, water, NaCl, Apartic Acid, Glutamic Acid, Methional, Cyclohexapyrazine, 1-(2,-Thienyl)-Butanone, Sulfuryl Acetate, Sulfurol, 1,9-Nonane-DiThiol, 2-DiPentylThiophene (yum... yum...), S-Furfuryl Thioformate, 3-Mercapto-2-Pentanone, MethylThio MethylButyrate, Iron(II)oxide, probably some Indole in there too.
If i have room, i'll also try some:
Polysaccharide encased water, fructose, glucose, sucrose, Naringin, Bergomottin, beta-Farnesene, Geraniol, 2(6-trans)-nonenal, Hexyl Hexanoate, Butyl butyrate, Ethyl butyrate, Methyl butyrate, Nonyl caprylate, Pentyl butyrate, Pentyl hexanoate, Limonene, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, 3-methyldodecanonitrile, 2-undecen-1-al, nootkatone, valencene, various other Terpenoids, trace minerals... maybe a few atoms of Arsenic here and there...
I'm talking about "Beef".. and... "Mandarin Oranges"
From a Chemist's perspective, i really.. really do NOT distinguish between Natural and artificial, nor even the type of food. That's just a silly human construct.
Now go eat a hambuger...
Whether right or wrong, you have a right to not eat tender,
delicious,
succulent baby animals. 8)
naturally i tend to stray from meats.. wont touch any red or tough meat. closes thing that i'd even get close to would be either deli or the accational chicken breast.
oooo. kinda wish i had that ability.. herd plenty about ones chi and meditation, things of that nature, but i haven't figured out how it works... or, so to say, the reasoning behind it. =[
