You guys okay with me raising my commission prices?

Yep, exactly what it sounds.
Due to my new coloring style (which requires a whole heck more time than before)
...before- est 2-3 hours to complete simple BG commission.
Now it's taking twice the time needed.
So...I'm deciding to raise them prices.OTL
Hope no one minds!
New price sheet will be posted and redone around next month or so.
Is everyone okay with that?
Also, I need lunch money to last me till the end of next semester because I'm sick of going to the usual corner shop Chinese restaurant for lunch or dinner ;A;
And monies will go to buy art supplies and hopefully there'll be some left over for an anime figure- HOPEFULLY.
Don't worry, prices won't be raised too high...maybe just 5-10usd higher than usual. I think?
And a different price for mature-rated commission or those that want different clothing versions/styles oAo

a lot of it has to do with how well known you are. which sucks but i think you have a fairly well built up fanbase so the price change shouldnt effect much.

Or you could try " wing it" commissions, where they are cheaper ( your old prices) but they are one shot, no revisions, no approvals, they get what they get but the delivery is fast.

Haha usually I don't do approval sketch/such when it comes to that ^^a I prefer freedom drawing, but if there's mistake (like on fur pattern)and such they can check via tumblr for little error touch up ovo"
Tip: If you need to raise your prices due to an increase in quality/time simply inform your viewers that you need to do it. You shouldn't have to ask their permission.

Like for example, maybe I might think that oh! I draw very nice drawings
But to the others it's like, not even worth the price or something.
Or vice versa.

I like your style and I see that you got very much better and that with a speed not even Sonic could match xD
If the artwork takes more time to be finished a little higher price seems reasonable, I mean the money is for important things, for food and art supplies
If the commission still sells good there should be no problem with that - Your prices are already on a rather high state if you ask me personally - so a raise by 5 or 10 $ wouldn't be that much of a flaw |D
Especially when your pictures are fireworks of details it is definatly worth it :3 (when you have the money which I don't have |D)

It's like
Sketch using orange leads on back of old exam paper (which I have a lot) and use pencil to define details
Then take photo using iPad (earlier it was phone)xDD
Upload to Facebook or Photobucket
Download from there via computer
Import to SAI and magnify image by 3X
Then increase contrast and set layer to 50%
Then re ink using SAI xDDDD
Maybe one day ill upload a step by step of how drawings are created!xDD
I do lineart, it's just that they aren't popular so I moved them to my other commission sheet.xD
But don't worry though niisan, line arts are like the staple of every commission sheet so they'll be in the next commission sheet :)
