Looks like all the doomsday prophets about the LHC were wrong. Like they were wrong about all the other doomsday stuff. There is a lesson to be learned here:
Keep paying attention to them.
See, the moment they have a "worlds gonna end" fit again, and we ignore them, it'll turn out they're correct for that one time. This is Sod's Law, so to avoid it we all need to believe the doomsday fellers the next time a comet looks like its gonna hit us or some scientist does something only they actually understand :3

the pic was of some of the guys working on the LHC, and one of them looked exactly like gordon freeman! exactly!
A pretty obvious shoop, though.
But yes, we're in good hands. :3
unfortunately the LHC broke and they had to unfreeze it to fix it before they can refreeze it again and use it again.
