eyes wide open

You sit upon high judging as though you are some omnipotent force
Though you are as fragile as I, you think along a different plane of thought
You blame hate and belittle yet you are the one outside our boundries
We ready for marrage the most sacred of all things as you hide
Eyes wide open just in time
Woken from a dream
A nightmare in the making
Pulled from the forge just in time
I thank thee for the cold
As I reconnect to all that I am I'm all the stronger
Your deceptions fall on deaf ears and blind eyes
No longer blinded by you I move forward
Alone again the world bleak as before but yet a ray shines down
You enlighten as you tear down the apparition of what you claimed would be
I thank thee below for without earth to ground us these apparitions would take us away
Gaia I thank thee
Eyes wide open just in time
Woken from a dream
A nightmare in the making
Pulled from the forge just in time
I thank thee for the cold
With out the ground
With out the flora
With out the fauna
To be amongst and connect with you in basest of levels and each above
We would float away into an oblivion
Nothing but darkness and oblivion avoided by the grace of whom you choose
Naked and cold I wonder why but in this hidden corner of my soul I know it has to be
Eyes wide open just in time
Woken from a dream
A nightmare in the making
Pulled from the forge just in time
I thank thee for the cold
In our darkest hours we see our true selves
A candid, an avian
It matters not as we can all fly when we find ourselves
The sky is not even the the limit, for you have opened my eyes to the real depths of my soul
Not just what I think I can do but what I can really be
As I soar I see those tied down by those that are limit or blinded and wish to free
Eyes wide open just in time
Woken from a dream
A nightmare in the making
Pulled from the forge just in time
I thank thee for the cold
As I cut those ties that bind me loose some join my pack in the sky as they do the same no matter the species
We are all from the earth we belong to Gaia
As we all return to her be it burial or cremation
She is our life bearer no matter religion
She is our provider
As we once were we shall return
Though you are as fragile as I, you think along a different plane of thought
You blame hate and belittle yet you are the one outside our boundries
We ready for marrage the most sacred of all things as you hide
Eyes wide open just in time
