Considering the average American's intelligence, McCain is someone they can identify with. Obama is too smart for everyone, and if he became president the entire country would be confused as fuck because they wouldn't know what was going on.

Well yes, but the fact that Mccain's scheme is so transparent, and the end result is a nightmare, I'd much rather the lesser of two evils. I mean, Mccain supports the war in the sense that he supports going to war. If he pulls out of the war he's in now, there's no way he's not going to just roll tanks into, say, Pakistan. Maybe North Korea. China if he's having a bad day.
