Starting to lose my patience with a lot of furries...

I posted this on my facebook a few weeks ago and people kept reposting it and asking me to put this on FA as well. So here it is, a little rant I did. Im aware this has been spread around a bit but it originally came from my rantyness.
I find myself starting to become a lot less tolerant of newer, young furries. The ones that are shiny and new to the fandom, have to RP EVERYTHING and think they we're all best buddies because we like cartoon animals - you know, we're all in the fandom you guys we should all love and tolerate everything!!! All furries are sweet an innocent and we all lie in a society where one interest links us all together in harmony - while we're at it, fancy a shag? ;). I have news for these people: like ANY group of people, we're all different and chances are... I won't like you. You may end up with NOBODY liking you depending on who YOU AR AS A PERSON - nobody cares if you're a rainbow coloured husky/wolf/tiger/pigeon/meerkat hybrid, if you have a nice fursuit or are a great artist - if you are a dick to people you will be treated back as such. In my time in the fandom despite generally knowing happy wonderful lovely people I have also known neo-nazis, violent criminals, sexual predators, psychologically deranged people, child abusers, animal abusers to name but a few - should we be happy and fluffy and welcome people like this with open arms? NO. Normal society wouldn't so why should we, as a fandom, be EXPECTED TO? SO take off your goddamned rose tinted glasses, no fandom is a happy family and stop treating it as such. The fandom is not your personal hugbox and BAD SHIT CAN HAPPEN - don't be naive about people, that's how you end up getting in trouble.

For some, furry *is* a 24/7 thing. It can be a lifestyle and not just a hobby.
As in: I was a furry before I even knew what a furry was. The social and hobby aspects are just an extension in my case.
Being a furry is something I wake up with and go to bed with. And it's a constant "buzz" in the background throughout the day.
Until you actually meet the person you talked to though the internet you never really know if that person is acctually nice or mean/creepy or whatever else.
I don't know if that's right. Do I call you Miss or Mrs. on here? I'm talking to you, but you're married. Is it proper to call you Miss and still....BAH! I'm giving myself a headache. Sorry
I agree about the tolerance.... I do not want to tolerate every sick idea just because the person is in the same fandom.
it just makes everything so awkward and noone wants to speak to them.. Annoys me because its not like there never gonna see eachother again and if they wanna do stuff like that they should meet up privately.
