How do Hexy Commissions Work?

Okay. So. I enjoy arting. I want to get better at arting. And while I would love for people to come at me all like "OH MY GOD PLEASE LET ME BUY ART FROM YOU", I'd rather not turn this into a money-making endeavour. Admittedly the extra cash would be nice, but I had a far better idea instead.

Do something epic. Something truly amazing, bad-ass or awesome. Or hell, do something good for somebody else or for the community. Then I want you to give me evidence of this. Congratulations, you've just become my art guinea-pig for the month.
Again, I want to get better at drawing, so I'm not gonna promise any form of professionalism. I won't promise good pics, bad pics, completed pics or what-have-you. BUT, I promise I will share EVERYTHING I draw of your character for that month. You will be helping me to improve at my art, you would be doing something awesome or something good, and you'd get awesome art for it. How can you say no?!
It's a bit too late to "accept payment" for May, but start now and we'll see who gets June. Who, how and why I chose somebody is entirely up to me and my judgement. I will make my monthly selection on the last week of the month and will write a journal about it. If you're not chosen and you feel cheated by this, then I am truly sorry, but keep trying and I will art you sometime :3 All you gotta do is keep being awesome! You may also get more or less art than somebody else did previously. Unfortunately that is a risk you have to accept. I will draw your character, but life happens, things can get crazy, or I may get abducted by aliens. I can't promise a fair amount of art for everybody. By participating in this, you acknowledge that you accept these risks and will not hold them against me.
And of course, help me out! Spread the word!

Still, if they do abduct you, and you come back with missing bits, I'd still probably be okay if you were hiking someplace remote, and had a sudden bout of appendicitis and they were like... just cruising by and through all the probing they figured out how to deal with that... so since you'd be in serious trouble if they didn't abduct you, they said "hey, Hexy is awesome, we should totally swoop in and save his life."
Yeah. Same goes for extra bits, particularly if it's something like an alien biomechanical replacement appendix.
