ok so quick question, I want to play Kerbal Space Program on my laptop but I don't know if the graphics card can handle it, I don't understand any of what the specs mean for the graphics/video card
KSP recommends having at least a 512MB Video Card, Shader Model 3.0
this is what my laptop says:
chip type: Intel® HD Graphics Family
DAC Type: Internal
Adapter String: Intel® HD Graphics 3000
BIOS Information: Intel Video BIOS
Total Available Graphics Memory: 1696MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 64MB
System Video Memory: 0MB
Shared System Memory: 1632MB
So will it work????/

I just use Can You Run It? for this kind of thing. It runs a java applet that scans what your computer has, and compares it to the system requirements of the game you list.

If it recommends a 512mb card, that's a pretty low spec, so your onboard graphics should be okay. You may have to play at lowered settings to keep it from being too choppy.
