So, a friend of mine from a long time ago stopped by at about 9 last night after getting kicked out by his parents. He didn't have anywhere but here to go since im his only friend that lives in the same state. My dad told me to tell him to leave, but I let him in anyways.
Now I'm in hot water with dad for letting him crash here for the night, saying that he needed to learn from his actions and that this place isn't a safe haven for people. Pretty sure he's going to have my ass for disobeying him, too.
He's just kind of making me wonder if I did the right thing.
tl;dr friend got kicked out, I let him in, dad's pissed because of that, and I don't know if I did the right thing.

It's your dad's house and rules so it's understandable why he's upset.
Tl;dr you did the right thing, unfortunately your dad's mad, take the head like a man and make it up to him somehow

And yeah. Kinda what I'm forced to do in this situation. Not like I'm going to run away from anything unless its a complete certainty I'll die. Just wanted to know if I did the better thing.
