One more day in my life.

So, after a long and tiring day, I am now a Grandpup. Little Emma was born today. So lots of family fun and celebrating and to top it off...

Grats on becoming a grandfather! And beware of jury duty's boredom. If you're lucky, it'll be settled out of court so you still get paid without having to deal with it.

next time you plan to come over for a meet, I'd like to know if you can bring some electrical solder stuff with you. My new head had a wire mishap and I was hoping you could repair it. If not, I understand, but I'm guessing this may be a quick fix. But given my knowledge on this field, I could be wrong.

Ah, not a problem. But it may be simpler to bring the head here so I have everything needed for a repair at my fingertips.

no. :) That's not in my vocabulary. And I don't have kids of my own, technically. I 'married' into the family. My husband has two sons and they have kids now. The oldest son has one daughter, and the youngest just had his second. The youngest has the elder daughter used to calling me Grandpup.

Ahhh... gotcha! That is still pretty cool, though. Even married into or adopted family can be pretty neat.

At least now I don't feel so old.
