These are the current layers in my photoshop that I'm working with. The drawing I did on paper. The colors mixed with the paper drawing. And the colors alone, which ends up being the final picture over all.

This is my first time really drawing a shark... and I'm nervous I made your character look derpy. If it is disappointing, I am willing to draw another character for you after I finish this one.

Oh, and she is meant to look as if she is reaching out to hug someone. Ignore the weird lines coming off her fingers on the paper drawing. :)
