The "new" mother nature
Ok, so a few of my friends and I were talking and they wanted to know what i meant by our version of nature and to a lesser extent, how it is "broken".
Humanity in general has fascinated me for decades, starting when I was a teenager. I never really fit into the clicks that were there and aside from 3 or 4 other misfits of the same social caliber, never really had any friends. But I'm getting off track here. Humans have striven for perfection, for the ultimate in genetic makeup, a "balanced" body that is indeed itself, perfect. Nature however, doesn't allow for this, it is messy, chaotic, destructive and ugly. So, through our machines, our "indoctrination centers" (schools) and our television, we have most of us fooled into this perfect little non-existent world. Mind you, I find some of it reasonable, MOST of our medical science for instance. All this crap to make a 50 year old look 20 again however, I find unacceptable. It's not only that though and there are plenty of other examples to be found elsewhere, our computers and TV's, the programs run on said TV's. But I'm also not talking about returning to the days of roaming bands of Indians across the plains.
All I ask is that for once, someone turn off the tv, turn off the computer and wander outside for a little bit, the bright yellow ball in the sky won't directly kill you and you don't need to listen to the schlock that the TV spews out constantly. I don't get this whole movement from getting along with nature to shutting it out with blinds and substituting florescent light for sunlight.
When did being outside for a little while become such a bad thing? Our ancestors lived nowhere else but outside, we should at least embrace the outside every now and then rather than try to shut it out and up with the TV.

There are so many ways that the humans have been blinded and led down the wrong path, another perfect example of this is the "It just works" model. People expect things to just work, and when they don't they throw it out. There is no more want, no more need or desire to be curious from most of the population anymore and that is the death of exploration.
The big companies are the only ones left now to explore, the almighty purveyors, the impotent voyeurs to the only thing to matter to their greedy mindsets; the dollar. Nothing means more to them and nothing will get in the way of their wistful desire to own all of it. But funny thing about nature, you can't destroy it. You can shove it down, you can push it aside, mangle it, try to scrape it off the face of the planet or try to subjugate it to your will. In the end, whether it be natural or man made; in the end nature will win.
When the last human is dead, the buildings and machines already taken over by vines, grass or mother nature's own powers; wind, rain and earthquakes, when that happens it is only a matter of time before nature sings in chorus as the buildings are taken over by animals and our monuments to ourselves crumble to the ground for lack of maintenance. Then, and only then will our reign of terror be done with for good, and at that time, there will be no trace of humanity's existence left for the naked eye to see, mother nature will have done what she wanted to when we started hurting her so bad all those years ago......
Shake us off like a bad case of fleas.
Then all the money in the world will be meaningless, and those who sought to own it all, will be kings of nothing.
