Oh, you.

Just spent a good few minutes trying to figure out where the hell the button was to write a new journal. Goes to show how well acquainted I am with this site. Last journal was getting on my nerves, and despite my not being on here often, I wanted to freshen up the place, update the page.
I have nothing to say to you :)
On a side note, it's always the evening - early hours that I end up being 'creative' and wanting to start projects. As of this very moment I've a pencil and sketchpad out and capturing little snippets of ideas that are falling out of my head. Usually if I'm all for it it's something on a larger scale that involves practical work (such as cutting pattern pieces for an unnecessarily fancy garment and the like) where I'll end up staying up for three consecutive nights until the damn thing is finished. That's how Amethystle happened, by the way, where I had no idea what I was doing or aiming for, just the compulsion to get something made.
It's been a year now, just about, since I last did that. I grew more tired and... bland. I'm not sure what happened, but I want to get back to that state where I could just have an idea and execute it within a matter of hours or days. I know I've said it before, but I've gotten to a point of desperation, so many opportunities I'm just letting pass me by, time to capture some of them again and set the ball rolling.
Currently on the hunt for as many people's reference sheets as I can source. Those that I know, I've met, I appreciate and just want to try and make smile. Not sure what I'll come up with, but want to give it a go.
