if you have a blue pit bull type character look here

it is genetically impossible for a blue "pit bull" to have a black nose
blue is a dilution of black pigmentation and therefore a blue dog will have no undiluted black pigmentation
the more u know

wow
but like what is the deal with blue/red/noses and stuff what
i know blue pit bulls are really am staffs or something? or they're different
then amstaffs (and of course later bullies) became a thing and lots of intentional blue breedings happened, but there are some amstaff lines with blue dogs which are no further removed from the pit than many ADBA lines. unfortunately breeding two phenotypical blue dogs can result in skin issues from the dilute gene, but the dilute gene has become so prevalent that it's difficult for AKC amstaff breeders who are well aware of the problem to find dogs that are not blue to breed to. this isn't as much of a problem in the UKC because red-nosed dogs are allowed so blue is not so outragiously overwhelming in the population even though the dogs are more or less exactly the same as AKC amstaffs for the most part.
