The way he's acting I'm fairly sure. Mine is a maroon bellied conure and I know there's a few color variations of the green cheek, which is similar. They're very bold guys though and it doesn't take long to tame them at all.

That is a green cheek conure! She looks like a particular color morph called a "pineapple", if I am seeing her correctly... Very cute :)

I have one. <3 Her name is Baku, she's my bundle of sweetness and EVIL. Baku is a yellow sided mutation though. :) I like the yellow sided green cheeks better then the pineapple mutation, but that's just me! Baku was actually from a breeder and $150. Regular green cheeks are only about $100-$150 usually, and just as sweet/evil.

It's an Olive Throated Conure I believe. Totally cute ^^

In the States they're pretty good from breeders. I've seen them as low as 150$ I think. They're also healthier and happier.

No, I've seen hand-raised ones go for that! :O It was with private breeders, though. Not on-line. People who sell on-line seem to have slightly inflated prices, too.

Conures are actually the sweetest birds.. i had a similar experience in a pet store with a sun conure

Full on sure this bird here is a Quaker.. Had one for 3 years before my brother broke my and its heart by getting rid of it.. (it was his but it lived in my room and I did all the care giver roles)
