Finally worth the R/T badge

Ok, first off anyone who knows me knows I'm a die hard Mustang fan, That's not to say i don't like other cars though. So since this week has been total shit I need to vent, and vent I will. Please feel free to share your reactions. Now on to the good stuff...
I'm cruising by the local Dodge dealership today on my way home and happen to spot two pretty ladies sitting out front looking all sexy and shiny so I had to stop. I have been waiting for the release of the new Challenger's for awail now and it was my chance to get to see one up close. Even from a distance they give that awe and appeal of sexiness and muscle, all what a MUSCLE car should. As I pull in the lot I cant help but get out to look, so much does this new Challenger look like the old girls I love, the lines the curves that mean ass looking grill and that duel ram air intake hood scream power.
I'm in awe by them even being a mustang lover this is one car I would give up my chance for a new cobra for. Finally FINALLY.... Chrysler has released something thing worthy of the R/T badge these two girls so nicely display. I'm sick so fucking sick of seeing things once associated with greatness flushed down the shitter cause the name is put on a POS. The R/T badge use to stand for power for muscle for being king bad ass. In the 70's the Challenger and Charger R/T's with big block Mopar muscle or the beautiful 426 Hemi's hiding under the hood. The cars for built for just hauling ass and beating up shit at the track.
But sadly I have had to see this once great symbol stuck on every fucking thing that's sapose to be "Performance" from this company. The Avenger R/T, Durango R/T, Dakota R/T, ect.... and don't get me started on the new Charger R/T. A four door a fucking four door are you fucking Kidding me and it looks nothing like the Chargers we all remember and love. What the fuck would the Dukes of hazard be like now with a four door fucking Charger. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS CHRYSLER DESIGNERS. Charger is sapose to be a Muscle car, But then again they fuck most of the good shit up. Remember the Darts, Demons and Dusters look what happened to them after a few years.
These new designers have to realize some of these badges have a since of meaning they have a history they THEY are fucking up. Like GM, they will slap the SS tag on anything anymore, What happened to the days when only the baddest of Camero's, Chevelle's, Nova's, Monte Carlos, and suck got the Super Sport badge or even better the rare RS/SS badge. Again they will stick it on anything to get the car sold. NO NO its fucking wrong, Limit the god dam amount only tag a car WORTHY of such a name. But again they fuck up a good thing. Look at what the Monte use to be and is now. Long gone are the Chevelle's and look what the Malibu has become. Remember how big nuts the Nova use to be and they tune it into a compact 4 banger WTF!!!!The better not fuck this new Camaro up. It's bad enough they don't want to release the new Firebird's cause they are afraid it will steal the spot light from the Camaro. It's the SAME FUCKING CAR.... just a different nose. and in all honesty the concept Firebird looks better more aggressive.
Now I know some of you are wondering "Oh what about ford they don't fuck shit up"? Well honestly no they are perfect..... No JK ya right they fuck up just as much. remember the mid 70's Mustangs OMGWTF!!!! Yes they have had the same problem, Their big names are Cobra and GT. Now the Cobra name yes still shows performance ill give them that and they have done right by making limited amounts of Stangs with the Cobra name epically if its something special like the SVT's and Shelby's. But again there were turds as well. I had a 79 cobra for awail and it wasn't anything special believe me. Now the GT badge has been passed around and it too resides on some cars that don't deserve it like the Escort Fucking Escort GT, and lets not forget the Probe GT. You know the Probe at one time was sapose to replace the Mustang, what in the hell where they smoking. I'm glad to see mustang again rising to its former glory with the new body style and bad ass packages they have come out with. Be it you cant touch a GT500 for under $60,000 but I'm happy they limit the amount made as well. Again gone are the names of cars I wish they would bring back to the muscle car wars of now.... Cougar Eliminator, Fairlane 500, and the Cyclone which we will probably never see again. I think if they put their heads together and made a good muscle Cougar it could bring it back. A Retro 69-70's look or a retro Fairlane something NOT FWD and a v6. The T bird would'nt have been bad had it been thought through better and not over priced as well.
I guess its safe to say the Muscle car wars are back on and I'm a very happy wolfy to see it. I'm just hoping like before the big three doesn't fuck it up like the 70's. The Mustang is back, the Challenger is back and the Camaro soon to join in the fun. The Charger still has a chance if they can pull their heads out their ass. But all in all back to my basic point I'm happy to see a Chrysler muscle car worthy to ware the R/T Badge. Ware it proud Girl you earned it.

I love the MK1 mustangs, and the chargers too but why should ppl be deprived of 2 extra doors, there are ppl who would love an HP car but cant have one for various reasons, the lack of 2 doors being one of them, Lancia even did a high performance station wagon for ppl like that, I hotted up my station wagon once for the hell of it, used to love blowing escort xr3I's into the weeds as it looked stock, no-one expects a station wagon to have performance XD

I dont mind performance 4 doors I really dont I love the Evo's and such. but if dodge is going to do it dont waste a legendary name like Charger on a 4 door. the Charger NEVER was a 4 door it was a muscle car. A muscle car is defined as a 2 door coupe able to sit 4 people with major performance. my brothers 67 mustang sat 4 people confortably.
