And when is it ok to to turn around and ask for a refund ?
Sometimes I worry that my turnaround time is too long.
Its hard for me to find time to draw now that I'm kind of an adult and have do to grown up things ;n;
Mind you, I try not to keep people waiting too long. I think my longest ever turnaround was like 4 or 5 weeks :n:
Iv'e been waiting on a commission since september last year -n-
I don't know if I want to cancel it though because the art is just so lovely

Does it seem like they are making excuses or avoiding you at all?
Or are they just working on a lot?
HMM... Even so, that is a LONG time. D:
I feel like its being avoided though because after I first messaged I went back to their page a while later to find that they had moved....I was never informed, no link to the new account was left. But I found them again thanks to a tip .
You really need to chase them up about it.
If they don't intend on giving you the art you have paid for then you deserve a refund.
That is not on. >:C
As for turn around time, 4-5 weeks IMO is totally fine. I've had to wait 6months+ so..
I figure one day it'll happen. Hahahahahaha
4-5 weeks is fine as long as you are honeat up front.
it's the "Oh hey I'll have it in a month" then not seeing squat for 6 months that irks me.
Still, if they've been blowing you off and avoiding you like what you said to Rie, then it's definitely time to demand a refund.
Shame it's been that long. I doubt you'll be able to open a complaint with Paypal over it. All you can do is complain to admins if they refuse.
