Finally! I'm free!
I just took my last exam of finals week today, which means I'm officially done with my sophomore year of college! I don't think I've ever been so glad to finish up a semester. x__x This one felt like it would NEVER end -- it's just been one lengthy string of assignments and exams. I'm WAY overdue on sleep (I've only been getting 4-5 hours per night, sometimes less), so I think I may spend the next few days in a coma.
Now that I finally have some free time, I'm going to be able to devote significantly more time to artwork. :D I have a couple commissions to finish up within the next week or two, and then I plan to open some commissions similar to the "iron artist" format. They'll be fully-colored, but done in a quicker and slightly less-refined fashion than my normal work. I'll probably charge about $15-20 for a finished single-character piece. The purpose of this is to get back into the swing of drawing regularly, while hopefully speeding up my drawing process at the same time. One of my biggest faults is that I take FOREVER to finish a drawing, and it's really been getting on my nerves lately. I feel terrible for taking so long to finish the commissions I currently owe... My slow drawing habits coupled with an enormous workload from school pretty much destroyed any chance of getting anything done over the last few months. :/ I'd really like to become one of those artists who can pump out a quality drawing every day or two, even when busy with school and/or work.
Anyways... it's been a while since I actually did anything on FA! :0 What have I missed?
