Useless warbling #283

Just getting the other journal off the front, really. I am super close to finishing the Golden Compass series, and it's definitely worth a read! The characterisation is certainly not the strongest I've ever read, but hardly the weakest, and all of it's plot elements slot nicely together. It's a real epic tale. Also Pullman reallly hits his stride in the last half of the second book and the third book and I guarantee a bit of heart-string plucking (;_;)
On another note I've been helping a friend move for the last couple of days and HOLY SHIT am I sore. It probably didn't help that I was already sore from *cough*activities*cough* from a day before and then I went and cleaned skirting boards and marching boxes n shit up and down the stairs(square).
Also, have some TMI. Sometimes my armpit smell is remarkably (I mean...identical...) to the smell of semen. And I have no idea why.

If you haven't seen the movie yet...don't. Not nearly enough Iorek, and it ends before the best freakin' part of the book...(which also ensured they can't make a sequel without a hell of a lot of exposition...)
The only good thing about the movie is that it was interesting enough to make me want to read the book
Hahaha, unsubtle is...quite right XD
Also, I am writing a response to your note currently (it can take me multiple days to write a paragraph for notes/emails, I'm kind of...funny about them), most of the slowness has been just it's been really hard to focus on commissions with my family not only breathing down my neck but with the conflicts and tensions between us bubbling up and mounting x_x I try to draw every day still, but it's mostly gestures and it's really hard to sit down for sketching at the moment. That said, if you like I could try doing up some really rough little ideas (maybe three sketches or multiple little studies of different design aspects thrown together, which is a $12 deal) and then you could look over them and pick and choose to see what you'd like to have in the final design? Doing the ref sheet thing in increments might be easiest, because I'm still not entirely sure what the cost should be.
erm
well I guess I kind of don't have to finish the note now? XD;
Mine're like fried onions. Specifically onions fried in ghee. It's weird. MARCHIN UP N DOWN THE SQQQUUUEEEAAAARE.
