Party time, party time,
school is over, grades are fine.

Summer's here,
the weather's fair,
put on some shorts,
and cut your hair.

Now here's a challenge,
tried and true,
don't write a limerick,
but something new.

I'll try my hand at a sonnet then,
For that it something new.
I understand you don't want a limerick again,
So I'll switch up my rhythm for you.

As the weather gets warmer, the grass grows upon the ground.
However this regrettably means I must cast my sweatshirt aside.
Though still, I normally wear a pair of jeans all year-round,
Excluding while I am playing a match of tennis outside.

You know I like my hair a little longer than most,
But I did remove some hair, as I told you I would do.
I cut it nice and close
And have a picture for you!

I hope your summer is just as relaxing as mine
And also be the end of it, our paths might intertwine!

I just realized I have a typo now. The "be" in the last line should be "by", but I'm sure you could already figure that out.

This summer is it, it's the last one! Apocalypse!!!

That's just how awesome our meeting will be; it will cause the world to end!
