Image type and characters - Type A digital color macro/micro mini comic of Catharine being gulped by Denkou who belongs to  A_Roaming_Shadow

Why this image was chosen - I have been meaning to do a feature on Samantha Weltzin's work for some time. I wanted to wait until something new came along from the artist that I really liked and this mini comic fits the bill. You could say that this is not exactly a feet first scene, maybe more like side first. For the purposes of this group I look at panel 3 where most of Catharine's upper body is still visible and only part of her leg (lower) body remains. In all probability her leg is probably going to disappear down Denkou's throat before her upper body follows, (especially if she tries to hang on somehow.) I have always enjoyed Samantha's work right from the first time I saw it some years ago and this is the latest example of how well the artist depicts a vore scene. The style and coloring that the artist uses is so unique that I can usually spot a Samantha Weltzin piece before I read any text to confirm it as being from this artist. Below is a frame by frame overview of each panel and why I like it.

Panel 1 - "Im gonna get cha! " - A panicked Catharine running away from an approaching maw from behind, the look of fear on her face as she attempts to escape is great. So is the mawshot seen behind her as if its showing the reader where she's about to end up going in the coming panels.

Panel 2 - "Gotcha! " - Denkou's face and eyes look menacingly predatory in this panel as Catharine is snapped up, the hand and ears sticking out of the mouth is a well done detail.

Panel 3 - " Tasting Catharine " - A simple but effective interior scene of Denkou's mouth as Catharine is seen struggling to escape or hang on to anything that might prevent her from being eaten. I like the way that the lighter brown colored tongue and mouth suddenly darkens at the throat entrance.

Panel 4 - "Big gulp" - Love this panel a lot, the long neck is sexy looking enough but Samantha has added a very nice looking lump in Denkou's neck to show Catharine going down whole. The expression on the predator's face is one of delight, one of minimal effort to gulp down a tasty morsel.

Panel 5 _ "Cut away body shot" - I don't often see this point of view body shot done as well as this and it really puts a good finish to a very fine comic. The cut away scene of Catharine inside of Denkou's stomach doesn't over power the scene or take away from it. One final note to make is that I really like how the lighter color browns on top and the darker shadowy browns under the body give it a convincing 3 dimensional look. It is because of the layouts, coloring, the sexy neck bulge in panel 4 and the well done final panel work that I have +faved this into the group's hall of fame.

This is really good comic Samantha and I hope that we will see more from you in the future.
