I should be in bed, I should have been there forever ago, but napped earlier in the day and can't sleep now. x3
But it gives me time to post a few things I'd been meaning to do earlier, but was either too busy or lazy and forgot~

First, last-last weekend I went to my first furry convention ever, Fur-Eh in Edmonton, Alberta (closest con to me, I think!), with friends  leorenard and  leokitsune, so it was a totally fox-filled adventure. At first I was very wary of it, because, well, furry cons have a really mixed review from basically everyone -- but I had a blast. It was an excellent time; I had a lot more fun with things that I previously may have thought to have been weird, there were plenty of cool suits to see, everyone was really nice and friendly, the venue was great, and I got to buy a bunch of neat things (and doodles) at the Dealer's Den~ It was very small by furry convention standards, but I had an amazing time -- and even met up with another friend who lives nearby, too! Prior to going, I would never really have given much thought to going to a convention; but after going, I really want to go to many, many more! So this is definitely something I'll be looking into in the coming years... <3

Second, my work schedule has permanently changed, for everyone who has me on their various contact lists; whereas before I would work midnight shift (11:00pm to 7:00am MST), six nights a week (Sunday to Friday), I now work the following schedule: Two weeks of day shift (7:00am to 3:00pm MST), followed by two weeks of afternoon shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm MST), rotating in that pattern indefinitely -- Monday to Friday. So now I get to be a regular human being and actually be around when normal people are -- in addition to always getting two day weekends! So I'm pretty pumped for that. Should improve my life enjoyability dramatically~! <3

Third, I know I haven't been around a lot, on such a note; been a busy guy lately. I have a guest staying with me at the moment, and have been adjusting to my new work schedule, which has been easier said than done; doing two years of midnight shift and then going to day shift is quite a change; by the time I get home from work, it feels like it should be sleepy time! But that should change eventually. l3 Nonetheless, I'll try and be around when I can -- it's a bit overwhelming to be able to actually go out and do things during the day like a normal human. I can go to stores, and restaurants! And visit friends! x3

So yeah, busy raccoon has been busy, but things are pretty exciting and nice, and I will look forward to my future under these new circumstances~ <3
