I just sent in my application for a job as a Special Events EMT-Basic at REMSA. I'm nervous ;.=.;
It'll be my first real job if I get hired on, too. It should be a cool job, though -- I'd be getting paid to attend all the fun stuff that goes on in Reno during the summer. Having a real source of income will be SUPER nice. I'd also be getting in some good patient care experience and developing a reputation with the company, as well as getting free education through them as an employee -- that means I can possibly get my EMT-Intermediate cert while working for them! I think it's probably pretty likely I'll get hired, but the idea of the actual work makes me nervous... but I guess that's something that'll get better with experience.

Like I said, I think I have a pretty good chance of being hired. I just feel anxious about the actual work... I know I can't really mess anything up, since I know my stuff, but I still worry I will :c That feeling will probably go away with experience, though.
(At least, that's what it feels like... =p)

I feel pretty confident I'll land this. I did get a reply after sending my application in, which was basically just a real person acknowledging that they got it. I don't expect to hear much until next month, though, since this position is a six-month block starting in July. All there is to do now is play the waiting game...
Also, replying to journals on a phone is hard today for some reason >.=.>
