Anyway, I'm in Japan. It's totally... Japanese. Like, there's cartoons everywhere. Even the road barriers around construction are little rabbits and frogs holding up steel bars. It's so adorable. And the food here puts America to shame (with a few exceptions). I've got over a 1 1/2 years left here before I get a new duty station so I'm definitely going to see more. In fact, I'll be going to Tokyo in a couple weeks on a trip with a few friends. There, Kyoto, and Mt. Fuji are my big trip spots I have to go to before my DEROS pops up.
I've been pretty busy with work, training, and wut-not. In what little spare time I have, I've been playing Monster Hunter 3U on the 3DS, and reading up on a few programming languages. I've also been pseudocoding my first big game project that I want to work on. It's sort of a NES/GB Legend of Zelda meets RPG mini Elder Scrolls. So far, it's nothing but a few text documents and concept sketches, which I would love to show you if my scanner didn't break in the mail during the move here D:
