8 hour drives and public apologies

so im FINALLY back from Florida and i got absolutely NOTHING done this week outside of commissions and personal art and I am not proud of this. I know theres a small handful of people expecting stuff from me thats in various stages of being slightly to a bit more outlandishly overdue. I haven;t forgotten you. This week is going to be me playing catchup, doing recordings for some rehearsing things for megaplex, character designs for a potential client (you know who you are) and as always continuing the story of Isla Aukake, AKA the Overlord Comic.
8 hours is a long time to be in a car in a position where sleeping is impossible, in that span of time i have come up with 5 potential story arcs for the overlord comic.
Let me put that into perspective for you.
The story arc we're in ISN'T OVER YET and its the FIRST ONE. I have planned out FIVE MORE.... (allthough to the fair this one is drawing to a close fairly soonish, id give it maybe 4 more chapters give or take.
For a silly little sketch comic that started out as a handfull of sketchtacular brainstorming sketches of giving a humanized starscream a daughter and running helter skelter with the idea, this has become one of the most promising epics of my artistic career. I have been blessed by all its wonderful feedback and how much everyone has fallen in love with the characters.
I couldn't do this without your continued support. So please continue to support its endevours with your comments and favs and attention, it really helps to encourage me to post as many pages as possible a week and I love writing the story.

As for the 8 hour drive.. I'm going to be doing just that come this next Friday, when I drive to an astronomy conference in So. California. After 20 years now of doing this, it's getting a bit harder (more so now since the medical treatment for my "guy problem" last year - which I don't wish on even my worst enemies). And, I'll be camping, in a tent, on the hard ground for 3 days.
Love camping, but these day's I'd trade the tent for an RV.
Sounds though you and I have the same issue.. fatigue from long drives (though I assume you were the passenger and not the driver). Still... I can relate.
At least you got home safe and sound. Get some rest... thing's will be better by morning:D
Considering I had the habit of doing a 28 hours drive to Wisconsin yearly, and had done so again over the last two years(though admitedly, not alone), I hear you there on long drives.
