Please Help Me Understand Something

Is this good or bad, I will never know, but all I see on this site is mostly guy on guy stuff. I love art, man & woman plus woman on woman art but there is to much man love stuff here.

I just don't see on how a man can love another man is beyond me and why? Because they are scared that a woman will not even talk to them because of their looks, money and the finer things in life? Now I meet

zander_stealthpaw, he was scared that I will not like him because he is a man lover. (He loves

wolfinboots) Now I have the upmost respect for Mr.

zander_stealthpaw, because he know that I will speck my mind on things and just like me, he wonders if I'm for this or not. Its so hard for me to take this because my best friend of whom I call my brother is over the rainbow. And it really messing me up big time.

But I not going to stay on this website and says that I'm ok with this but this is way beyond my level. But I would like be real and tell me why I should try and understand this. I love all the fursuits and your heart & soul that goes behind it but what is the real deal and please don't tell me that its a lifestyle or something bogus. Now I have an open mind, so please help me understand this and please no textbook, soap opera drama. Help me understand this and feel free to ask me anything, I will be fair and honest. On my mother's honor, I will not be an *sshole on this matter.

I'm not sure what to tell you. Most of the Fur community is gay.
I don't have a problem with it though, just don't what exactly to tell you.

You're bring forewarned as of now; up-rooting somebodies personal business - naming mine, can 100%, without-a-doubt attract some vulgar drama ... but since I'm not like that,  it slides.  Confession: I'm attracted to  wolfinboots for personal reasons, which shall not be said;  however, that doesn't quite mean I'm willing to commit, at the moment.   wolfinboots made a personal choice to experience what it was like across the pond, for what real intentions - I'm not absolutely sure; nobody can really stifle his interests, no-one but himself.  Frankly, I cannot be-mate somebody with an extremely short temper, and doesn't know the proper values of a serious (albeit any) relationship.  I just don't know, right now ... I've been through bad relationships already, and I don't want to f*** anybody else life up ... besides my own.



Grant it; as  Ne0h phrased it: "Most of the Fur Community is Gay", and it's true.  The community itself is driven on the aspect for our admiration towards animals, though what really started it all were the early anthropomorphic(s).  Bugs Bunny, would be an example.  Comics were made, art flooded internet, action figures, even all the way to custom mascots;  primarily, it just displays the more primal factor in your being, and some seem to cling to that.  We create alternate identities (much like you would for Dungeon and Dragons) to help define what that person believes to have been in a past life or something that resembles their favorite animal - whatever the reason, the artistic side is about 50% of the fandom.  Personality, creativity, and real-life qualities make other portions of this culture.  Ultimately, it just boils down to how you gaze at the Fur Community, what you make of it, then go from there if you hate it or love it, or just want to stay in the gray.  Many of us have our own reasons for joining; some might just be in it for the smutty porn, others might be for the mascoting concept, it just /really/ depends on you!

Ok point taken, but why would guys that love men want to hide behind animal suits? Would that count as if they want to have sex with animals or just guys dress as animals? I understand if the gayness was not in this, then I can stand up to this but how would the public view this as a what? Here in Rochester, people want to know the whole truth and I don't want this to become a bad thing because I have an image to uphold. I do want to go to a con, and met some of you but I'm not two-faced. Just as long as you respect me in person and I will do the same. But again, I just wondering why?? I just need to understand from others that know the pros and cons of this.

A kind example is my friend put a simple photo that i took of him holding a SlutBox 069 (that what I call the X--x 360) controller playing RockBand II and somebody want to the other side of the field with it and blasted it to a point that I couldn't hold a conversation with my friend. That p*ssed him off real bad. But at lease I'm being civil about this.

Any taker on this matter??
