Life update: Re-homing Clover + Surgery

General
First off: I'll be out of commission for about a week. Getting my wisdom teeth removed in the morning and totally taking advantage of the time my husband took off work to take care of the kid to just relax and do nothing.
Second: We found Clover a new home. I know some of you remember the trouble we were having with her and despite our best efforts, things escalated and she ended up biting Saoirse's hand over a chicken nugget. I was right there and saw the whole thing but couldn't do anything fast enough to stop it. Clover went for the nugget, and grabbed just the nugget to start with, but when Saoirse fought back she went for a better hold on the nugget and got her hand instead. It was obvious she meant to only go for the nugget and she luckily didn't break skin, but it obviously upset my daughter and myself, and I just can't keep a dog who would be so aggressive about a chicken nugget. Accident or not, it could have turned out so much worse! Clover has happily been in a new home for a little over a week now, where there are only older children who fight over who she gets to sleep with, and a stay at home mom/wife who can give her the care she needs around vaccine time because of her allergy. She also has a new best friend, another dachshund her age. I'm really glad she's found the perfect home but now ours feels a little empty. Biskits has been a little depressed this last week. I'm going to start taking him to the dog park I found near by to hopefully help him feel a bit better. I don't know if we are going to get another dog or not. We should be moving back to the states in November, and an overseas move is hard enough with a toddler and one animal, another just might be too taxing. We'll see how things go.
Other than that it's been the usual. Been doing some random web banner design, and other similar commissions. And lots of sketching, but not finishing much. IDK. I have the urge to draw but not really the time or ideas. It's strange.
