Can anyone clear this up for me??
Note: Do not read the following if you don't want any MAJOR "Twilight Princess" spoilers
Is the Triforce of Power passed on to Zant?
-Considering that Ganondorf lost the triforce blessing (deemed unworthy of it)
-Died without the triforce protecting him (as in, not sealed away, but killed for good)
-Zant's spirit somehow gained the power to kill Ganondorf in that moment (he was a puny host that had his revenge against his master, but at what power?)
-Ganondorf PROMISED Zant his power before and so (that promise must be fulfilled after Ganon's death)
-Because the Triforce usually must have an owner, rarely "scattered" to pieces (and other powers must interviene for that matter, it doesn't happen on it's own)
-And most importantly, Zant is a REAL WACKO, unlike Ganondorf who is quite villanous, but cool. (Zant has the potential for TRUE PSYCHO LIKE EVIL)
Tho after all these facts point out that Zant should be the new holder, it's not clear for me yet and i want to know if any of you figured it out yet?

Oh fuck it, I just want more Zant, he's cute .3
also people might hate my idea but female link pls
I mean does every reincarnate have to be male? :C
lol
Course, I've maintained that the Japanese are crazy and I never know what to expect out of the most of the time so who knows! If nothing else you can keep dreaming.
or resbians I mean japeeze love that
As for Female Link... considering that Zelda is always female and the triforce... wait goddesses, fairy boy... no because subsequently that would mean that Link is straight, and the only "straight" Link was the one in Wind Waker and he ended up being Tetra's bitch per say. Otherwise he's chasing Fairies (see MM) or tiny elves (see MC)
ZOOOM!

Also, the Triforce can't just be willed to someone. It's been fairly well implied in other games that the holder of each piece is "destined" to hold it, or is chosen by the gods, or has actually touched the True Force. So, with the "death" of Ganondorf (and that is a huge big IF, because we all know how much Nintendo likes him and likes to bring villains back) the Triforce of Power will probably pass onto a new enemy...although I'd place money on Ganon returning.
HOWEVER, what you suggest is not impossible. If they decide to, they could certainly have Zant force his way back from the Twilight dimension by using the power of the Triforce of Power. This would also give them a nice way to reincorporate Midna into the series. Having said that, it's not where my mind necessarily leaps right off the bat, but that's just me. You could certainly be right.
...Wow, I sound like a total nerd.
And yes Ganon will be back like Madonna every 100 years and we'll love him for it once more

However, I'm one of those Zelda fans that thinks, no matter what they say, the creators are just making this shit up on the fly and they don't really have some magic timeline that unites all the games. ;) I just think of all the games separately.
She was such a saucy betch .3
If we assume that this is the game that comes right before Oracle of Seasons, then what can be assumed is that the triforce is completed and subsequently enshrined until Ganon is subsequently revived by a reincarnated Koume and Kotake.
One more thing. We can't say for sure that Zant killed Ganon because
1) Zant was killed prior and as we know undead people in Zelda can only fling lanturns around and face rape you
2) Impalement seems to be the hottest new way of Ganon to die (see wind waker *gasp epic spoiler zomg*)
You got a point tho... It could be assembled and hidden in a jar..
No que la historia tenga mucho sentido ;)
Adoro a Midna y a Zant mas que a la ñetas de la Zelda...
Deberian meterlos de nuevo!
a mi tambien me gusto midna ^^ ojala y vuela
Zant died for one, and yeah, it was cool. :P Like we all saw coming, Ganon screwed him over and regained his power (typical of him). Now, my theory is like this: Zant was a vessel for Ganon and it was because of him that Ganon regained his power. It could be argued that Zant and Ganon had a connection through the Triforce of Power because of this. However, Zant, while not able to use the full power of it, may have been capable of suppressing its power. Thus, when Link dealt the final blow and Ganon was weak enough, Zant stopped Ganon from using the Triforce's power and thus, he died. This was only possible because Zant was much weaker than Ganon and had to wait for a chance when Ganon actually became weaker than himself. This is just my theory however. :P Take it how you like.
As for the idea of a female Link and a male Zelda, I have to remind you that this is Nintendo (for reference, remember the Mario Brothers and see how it's ALWAYS BEEN GUYS FOR IT). You know the routine: Peace, then disaster and kidnap of princess, epic quest to save princess, final epic battle, and you save the princess. Both seem to kind of follow this routine don't they? Just something to think about. :P
