Man that was amazing.
Hey guys like Kinect? How about sports game sor Call of Duty? TV? How about CD-Keys to tie game sto your account, meaning you'll need to pay a fee to use used games. EVEN ON SEPERATE ACCOUNTS ON THE SAME SYSTEM.
Just wow. I haven't seen a tech reveal this flaccid and pathetic since the Segway. I know they said "We don' want to focus on games" but it's a fucking Gaming Console.
Notes I've gathered...
You don't need it always connected, but needs to connect t the server ones every 24.
Kinect will be bundled with the machine. Oh and it will not fuction without the device. You need Kinect to turn it on. Oh and the machine has low power mode...meaning that sucker will always be watching your living room or bedroom. Sleep tight.
No backwards compatibility with any Xbox games. Sony said the same thing but said they had plans to allow you to stream PSone, PS2, and PS3 games on the PS4 in some manner. Microsoft has no such plans.
CD-Keys will block used sales. You will need to pay a fee to play a used game. For newer games you will be paying full price. Thus defetaing the purpose of second hand games. SOmewhat hypocritically I might add.
focus on new Apps. One can Skype, play a game, and wtach TV at the same time and switch app to game instantly. Whoop dee do.
All the games shown were EA sports and Call of Duty. What was revealed for the gaming side of the device?
--microsoft is paterning with EA to deliver MORE and NEW sports content for the device and
--EXCLUSIVE CoD content for the Xbox One. And Ghosts now has a dog because having a dog counts as innovation to Call of Duty now.
This when from tragic and rage inducing to tragicomic when today, after the reveal of Microsoft big, hyped vision of the next Xbox console...Sony's stock rose.
Seriously that's impressive Microsoft. Pretty certain Nintendo and Sony are now breathing a sigh of relief.

FA+

Oh yeah also they announced n Exclusive Halo TV series.
xbox one also loses points for lack of backwards connectivity.
in any case, if you're wondering if you should get an xbox one, just buy a good gaming computer, it'll last longer.
And With the WiiU I'm in the same boat. Hoping it picks up steam so I have an excuse to get one. It is sadly in the same positionthe 3DS was: It's not doing too well and thus very few are willing to support the system. But it's too early to tell.
But you know that's EA. What have they made that's good these days...
No. Uh...
Fuse--
...Was better when it was Overstrike.
Battlefield--
...Is now trying to ape CoD--
Nevermind. EA is probbaly gonna be dead soon anyways.
Heard EA Sports CEO...or some higher brass old all his stock in the company?
Wow, that's kinda sad. I actually really hope Sony gives them some stiff competition this time, cause if they don't, the WiiU's success will feel pretty shallow.
>Not retarded
Dude, did you see the WiiU's marketing?
Oh wait nevermind it didn't exist. =/

I have a device which allows me to do just that. It's called a laptop.
It also doesn't have fucktarded requirements on used games.
I at least hope microsoft is savvy enough to ditch membership charges for Xbox Live, as that shit got way harder to jusifity as time wore on.
Not sure what it's like in Europe, but in North America PC games past 2000 tend to come with some kind of DRM.Still, if by "Used" sales you mean "GOG and Steam" then the Xbox One has already lost the advantage of the secondary market to it's competitors. But hey, it's modern Microsoft. Was this reveal so surpising post Windows 8? I certainly don't think so.
