HOLY.
FREAKING.
MOLEY!
This is what the ever-elusive-"they" refer to as - "THE GOOD SHIT".
I seriously have not been this pumped up playing a game since the first time I played Half-Life 2... It's an amazing triumph of FPS action.
A lot of the terminology and ground-level procedure gave me flashbacks.
I can well understand why it was 'Game of the Year'.
It really is THE GOOD SHIT.

P.S. The game was a bit uneven in it's story telling. It felt like there were gaps in between missions, as if some missions were missing. This of course, also made the game feel very short - I ran through the whole thing in a single sitting.
The variety of weapons was great, but there really wasn't any need to switch. Once I got my hands on the SOPMOP and the Dragonov, I never switched. And the few times I started with something else (usually the MP5), I was quick to cast it away for an M4 or M16 which happened to be laying in a pile of weapons right near my start. Still, it gives the game a lot of playability - since now I want to go through using only AKs... :-D
