Tora is home and in much better shape. He had renal failure, but has recovered pretty well. It's a permanent thing; he's going to be getting 100ml of fluids 3x a week for the rest of his life, plus prescription kidney support catfood. He's walking around and drinking on his own, at least, and eating pretty well at the vet's. Hasn't eaten here yet but he's only been home five minutes. So he's in decent shape. Will have to get the food from the vet's from now on, although I might be able to order it to be delivered, although shipping may make it more expensive.

Since I wrote that in an email to family, he has since eaten, and he's been drinking. He ate about half a can of wet kidney support food, which Bastet was highly jealous of right up until I offered it to her, then it wasn't any fun anymore. "Can I have some?" "No." "Can I have some?"
