I have wondered if I can to use some new work and if I can apply them into apparel like shirts and hoodies. Where should I go in order to not make a pittance? I will try to see what I can do to get my name and work out there by just making good stuff.
Also I am thinking about streaming. I do not know if that will be a good idea or not but, I guess I would need to show what I do sooner or later.

You could do some low budget work. Get some White Tees, some iron on sheets, and access to a printer, and you are good.

A long shot to be sure, but I wonder if some furries would pay to have you draw their characters as "KOF-ed" versions..something like that occurred to me the other day playin' good old KOF '94. :>

It might work, especially with the crowd in Latin America and Asia. The US crowd is much more skewed towards Street Fighter.
