General
Yesterday, almost immediately, I purchased the GBC downloads of the two Zelda Oracle games off of the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
I never actually played the original versions on the Game Boy Color, but it was a good chance to play some original Zelda games I needed to catch up on. The first title I played was Oracle of Ages, in which I completed 3 levels and currently on the 4th. The Ages title is pretty tricky, especially when you have to travel between two time periods over a 400 year time span, but you get used to it after a while. Then I started the Oracle of Seasons game and the seasonal change every time you enter and leave a town or field gets pretty annoying, especially when the only seasonal staff element you own is Winter. I enjoyed playing these titles so much, and so long, that I had played them up to 1:30 AM this morning.
If there are two good Virtual Console titles to try on the 3DS, these would be them. Tell me what you think of them if you've already tried them or are trying them for the first time.
