I don't have it, so I can't give a TRULY honest opinion of it... but... I think it's great that Megaman got back to his roots. Sure they did a small little thing like it in Megaman ZX Advent where they put in that Model a (antique), but I think it's good that there's a full game of it, and not just some little minigame that was thrown in. :3

i picked it up yesterday, it's a little on the difficult side, but i make a lot of newb mistakes with the jumping, but i'll get back into the groove. The songs are fantastic though, i'd like to see you on the rankings if you do time attack

Haven't touched it yet, only will for sampling purposes, I'm actually firmly opposed to it, however. Nostalgia is all well and good, I have no problem with ignoring technological upgrades, but going back several decades is just hideously wrong. Mega Man 8[PS1] and Mega Man & Bass[SNES] are only maybe a decade old, that's okay. Two decades, not so much. :D

Personally I find it very awkward. They claim to be reaching back for the classic feel by removing the slide and Mega Buster, but they leave Rush, Beat, and the item shop as well. Why? The slide and Mega Buster are classic. I mean, I can do without the Mega Buster, but the slide is a good way to dodge and get that boost of speed. Its difficult and fun, but the removal of two classic and basic actions really bothers me. And the music is just so awesome.
