I went to check out the game. I'm sorry to say it's very...meh. It feels less than unfinished. For one thing you have all of these stats and things on your character(s) for which you can upgrade and do all sorts of things with. But the problem is you have a very limited number of in-game days to do anything with 'em. If I want to hire a different character, I'm limited by whatever is available "that day". I wasted my entire profits at one point even trying to find your character and not once did he pop up. I kept getting a lot of the same characters in the auction house. Given this plus the limited in-game days you have it's not worth it to even try. Where does one find maids and things for upkeep? What's the point of a leader? What's the point of even upgrading my character's stats when all I'm going to do is just click Start a whole bunch of times, send him to an inn to recover if he gets tired or in poor health, and come back for more until the end? There's a lot of options for upgrading characters, stats, house, etc. like a miniature RPG of sorts, but it all feels wasted in its current presentation. I appreciate that they want to make and sell a game, but this is by far not worth $10 at all. If it were a bit more polished or presented more as a "help fund us" kind of deal then I can understand. As it is I feel that the creators should rethink their business strategy.

its still in what you could call the beta release, working out bugs and whatnot. more features will be added in the future once it gets smoothed out. I think its just 2 guys working on it at the moment.

But I do agree with you that there's not much strategy in it yet, but that'll get fixed im told.

I did do a third run-through and sort of figured all that out. I used hard mode, but found it all too easy to quickly rack up an enormous amount of money in short order. I finally did get your character after a few tries and after making some money to search first. But after that point the starting character had enough experience and levels that I put him as a maid first who very quickly cleaned up, then put him as a leader which got your character nailed a huge amount of times all at once and jolted my bank account to a ridiculous sum in that one turn. XD With that I was able to buy a second person and expand the house. Then bought a third. Set them as maid to constantly clean up and had a duo going on. Constant bonings, occasional visit to the inn/hospital to mend wounds and be all rested. At the end I think I had managed over 30K or so. I lost count. Money was just flowing in like no tomorrow.

Yours came up a lot. My point is that I personally think that it should (1) not be left entirely up to chance or (2) if it is left up to chance for it not to cost money to look every day. And if it must do this, the characters should wait around a few more days before the selection changes, that way if you see a character you like you're more likely to have the money in a few turns and can come back and buy 'em.
