A Wacom enabled Gamer laptop?
Hello everyone, was wondering if someone could perhaps recommend a laptop that is powerful enough for games (fast processor, lots of ram a proper discrete Nvidia or ATI chip) That also has a wacom enabled screen, doesnt really matter if its convertible, traditional laptop or a tablet for under $2000 any suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Honestly, don't buy anything right now. Wait for Haswell. Intel JUST refreshed their CPUs, and the new ones will be more powerful and have better battery. Plus old models will get discounted. :D
If you're really hung up about not being able to boot to desktop or not having a start menu, there are utilities that bring both of those features back to Win 8.
Buy a computer with an Intel core i7 processor, that's what I have and it's just fucking powerful. 8Gb of ram is enough, nothing even uses that much memory today.
You should see a computer reseller, he will give you good advice, but I mean a GOOD reseller, not a big shop which also sells TV, DVD, cameras and stuff... A computer professional.
Try to avoid shitty brands such as Acer, HP, and this kind of shit, and stick to good brands like Asus, msi, Dell (or Alienware which belongs to Dell), Toshiba. I really don't know how Microsoft Surface things last but regarding the xbox lifespan, I wouldn't try surface... Microsoft isn't known to make quality products.

Intel's Haswell CPU has definite promise, I agree. However, licensing and integrating Wacom functionality on top of a tablet or laptop takes extra funding, so not all manufacturers will go for it. On the other claw: Wacom themselves are hinting about a new all-in-one tablet PC+Wacom they have in the works, but this has been very secretive. It is supposed to be out this year but finding information on it is extremely difficult. I mention it, but I have no links, sorry. They have it tightly under wraps.
Good compilation. There is an excel table at the end with all data easily comparable.
You will find few tablets with anything but a HD 4000... Although it's not THAT terrible for games.

Other than the windows 8 it runs games amazingly. I play minecraft with over 60 frames a second.
Only posting this since its an option that wasnt mentioned. Even if you can get 3 Surface Pro's for the same price.
Lenovo, Asus and Sony also have some machines with Windows 8 and that are pen enabled.

Have fun!
Take care! :3
I'm not a gamer my self, for I'm using Photoshop CS6 with an Intel i3, with Graphics 3000. Even though it's a little sluggish at times, it works. Then again I had to go that rout until I could afford something better. I'm looking at a Sony, or even a Samsung with an i5 or better.
