fo rillz, i feel that feel pretty much every day; my boyfriend lives in belgium and i'm in usa.

oh here's a question if you don't mind me asking, i saw you're trying to get to the us and i totally understand wanting to gtf away from your blood relatives and to the people you love, but

in what way are your blood relatives weird?

WELL....My family are kind of very tense people. They've been through a lot of bullshit and it's left some scars. They're very sharp spoken and often unpleasant with no good reason, moody. They think I owe them for giving birth to me and raising me, and my mom frequently tries to guilt me into things or deflects any objections or criticisms I have by reminding me how much she loves me and she breastfed me, carried me around in her stomach. My mother tends to keep up a stream of verbal abuse against me, calling me stuff like "the laziest person on god's earth, ugly (in the south african inflection, which pretty much means nasty and unplesant and horrible inside and out), selfish" and at one point when tensions were really high my parents and we had a huge fight in which I asked them what they wanted from me, what could I possibly do to pay them back and my dad said that I should be their slave to work to pay them back for everything they've done for me, and my mom agreed. Saying it out loud sounds kind of...like it's unreal or I made it up or something, the whole event is really fuzzy in my head. Only way I knew for sure what they were saying is that as they were screaming at me I was writing it down to a friend, because I felt like I was in this crazy unreal nightmare situation and I just wanted something to keep me sane...I don't know.

that sounds exactly how my ex treated me. if i could afford it, i'd donate to help you get on your way to the ones you love! sadly though, i am behind on my insurance payments.

pffh- don't worry about it, the experience with that person taught me a LOT and made me a better person. helped me do the things i did last year, including meet the love of my life!

I'm not actually sure, really, hmmmn...there's some minor ones that come to mind, but the one that I can remember most recently is my mom bad-mouthing me in front of my friend and her mother.

Oh! Chicken is actually kind of an interesting thing. See, originally I ended up flitting between dragon personas and using a laughing dove as my online face, until one of my friends confessed that he actually kinda saw me as a hybrid. So I tried drawing a hybrid. And surprisingly, the further along I got, the more I felt like it was something that was very inclusive of a lot of disparate elements of my personality. So he's got a lot of symbolism rolled in, but he's an excellent visual representation of me as one form of my 'whole'.

Out of curiousity, where did Artonis come from?

That story is probably not quite as... deep as yours. When I first started drawing porn I thought I needed an alternate persona to post it under, because my then-girlfriend's folks knew about my art and stuff. So Artonis was born. Eventually he took over as my main persona, because, he is evidently more handsome.
