Clothes

...I have reached an interesting dilemna with my newest drawing-I'm fairly sure clothes would just ruin it. I'm one of those people who just draw, I really don't care who's watching, or looking, or what-have-you; random people usually have the best suggestions anyway. I've had 6 people tell me the way I hid the folded hands between her knees is far too suggestive; so I moved them. It's still far too suggestive, apparently. I personally don't see it, but I do know that if I move them anymore, she'll look like the long-lost spawn of Stretch Armstrong. So, whatever, it's suggestive-so what? Anyone with 3 brain cells will see that the supposed suggestive placement of hands isn't the focus of this picture. Not to mention, the suggestivity has no bearing in the situation. I'm really sick of perverts ruining nice moments and items to get some sort of cheap thrill. I dream of running around with a giant ray gun and effectively sterilizing the entire human race-maybe then, there'd be no perverts.
And in case there are people out there wondering why I classify myself as a writer, yet I have nothing written displayed, is because I write for me; I hardly ever share it with anyone else. It's not emo or suicidal or any of the normal reasons people keep the written word to themself. It's not bad, either-I've had people sneak into my writing folder and read while I'm not there, they tell me it's good and they want more when I catch them and beat them with my notebook. The foxes/Kitsune I draw are mainly the characters I use in what I write; it's nice to see them on paper and not just in my head.
Also, I'd like to make it known that I don't just have foxes and Kitsune, I do have a carnivorous rabbit, (I like to call him a Rabion) and a tiger, (who used to be an Android). I just mainly have foxes and Kitsune, I like them. I want a wolf character, but I'm just not sure what I would do with a wolfie yet.

Apparently her hands between her knees is suggestive of pleasuring oneself. And when I pointed out she had tears, I was informed she was probably 'doing something wrong'. And when I added the second one, they said it looked like the first was about to be pushed down... *sigh*
Thank you for that affirmation, though. :) I had always wondered if there was a problem with me and not them.
Personally as far as I'm concerned, you should draw whatever you want, really. Apart from the legal bounds that restrict us from actually publicly posting anything at all, there seems to be very little grounds for censorship of *self*-expression. The complications all come when one starts sharing...guess we gotta deal.
Doesn't make them any less naked... And really, girls fold their hands between their thighs. I see at least 2 girls do it daily, and I've been known to do it myself when my hands are cold. I was trying for something natural and it was just... *sigh* freakin' perverts...
If there's something I want to say, I try to come up with a picture to showcase it. That way I have at least two days to fine-tune my words and make sure they're well thought out before just shooting off my mouth like... WAY too many people are wont to do. XP
Of course, that's just me. Please don't stop your journals. ;)
Sometimes I wonder about some of these people... -_-**
*shudders* Okay, it was physically painful for me to type that. Yuck. *shakes it off* Thank you for the compliment to my grammar
And proper punctuation and capitilization. You do your 3rd grade english teacher proud. *thumbs up*
