What IS FurTrade?

FurTrade is an open group where visual artists, musicians, writers and crafters of all skill levels can trade their skills and craft with others in return for whatever they may be looking for. As long as you have something to trade and follow the groups rules, all are welcome.

How Do I Join?

1) To become a member you need to watch the group.
2) You need to be an active member of FA for at least a month.
3) Whatever your trade/skill is, you need to have at least three examples in your FA gallery, made by you.
4) To apply to be a member, send a note to the group containing these things:

• Note Title: JOIN
• Offering: Arts, crafts, writing, and/or music?
• Link to three submissions on FA, made by you: INSERT LINKS HERE
5) You cannot trade or post to a trade session until you are approved and listed.
6) Once looked over and approved, you are a member of FurTrade!

What are the Rules?

Once you are accepted as a member, you must abide by the rules posted here to maintain your membership.

1) You MUST be watching the group's FA account and continue watching it as long as you're a member.

2) All trades/example links MUST be labeled if they are NSFW/Mature/Adult in rating.
- Any links posted that are not labeled NSFW will be assumed to be SFW. If they are found to be otherwise the link will be hidden and you will be warned. If there are repeated offenses, you will be suspended or banned from the group. Remember, this is meant to be a trade group for all ages/all artist types, so label things correctly please!
3) You must put effort into your half of the trade.
- Whatever you create, needs to be on par of what's in your gallery. If your partner is unhappy with your half, the group will look into the piece and match it to the standard of your gallery. If deemed far lesser in quality then what was expected, you'll be warned, and with repeated offenses, suspended or banned from the group. That said-- everyone has an 'off day'. The drop in quality would have to be crazy.
4) Be timely! Trades should be completed within the month the session was posted.
- The group is here to keep trades organized and give credit for trades. It's up to both parties involved in a trade to iron out details before accepting working with each other. However, if your partner is late, and delaying/ignoring notes or giving you excuses, please contact the group to look into it. You should always attempt to contact your trade partner before contacting us! The group will attempt to contact the late partner, and if responded to, they will be given a warning for not contacting you and us about the delay and given 2 weeks to complete their piece and receive a temporary ban. If they don't complete it by then or they ignore the query, they will be blacklisted from the group. Anyone who doesn't receive a piece from the blacklisted trader will be put up to be drawn as an extra point in the next session after the trader is banned.
5) Please be respectful to everyone. NO DRAMA!
- No critique unless they ask for it-- please, use common sense when interacting with other members, treat people the way you'd like to be treated and all that. There are only 2 warnings before you will be suspended for the current session. If it happens again after your suspension, it will result in a permanent blacklisting.
How Do I Trade?

1) A trade Journal will be posted by the group once a month, simply read the rules and comment to join on in the fun!
2) If you owe something from a past trade session, do NOT take part in a new session! Please complete all previous trades first!
3) To join and trade, simply post your “advertisement” in the journal using the provided example below:
- Once you've found a partner(s), reply to your "ad comment" with: CLOSED: Trading With: @/USERNAME(S) for: ITEM(S)
- Please make sure to include who you are trading with, and for what. This way it's easy to track things for everyone!
- Once you complete your side of the trade, make sure to note us the form below:

Title: Completed Trade
Trade Partner: @/USERNAME
Trade Session: INSERT SESSION DATE
Trade Piece: INSERT LINK HERE

- The group will reply to you after adding your FT point to the member list.
4) Reply to any advertisement you are interested in. You must post your own advertisement comment before replying to others.
5) Be clear in what you are offering, what you are looking for, and post a link to a suitable example of your work.
6) Make sure all NSFW/Mature/Adult work is labeled. Be sure to list how many trades you're open for.
7) Don't pester someone into a trade with you, just accept their decision and move on. Don't be rude, be polite please!
8) A maximum of 2 trades is standard per round, unless you have completed at least 10 trades.
9) After every 10 trades you complete, you gain a star. For each star, you gain an extra trade slot.
10) Please do not take more than you can handle.

What Are “FT” Points?

1) FT Points are FurTrade Points.
2) Every time you successfully complete a trade, a point will be added to your name on the member list.
