What exactly did she say, and when did she email you? Note me :)

You have to understand she is a full-time fursuit maker, she can only take on so many projects before it becomes overwhelming.
As a commission artist, I know this from experience.
She wants to make every suit she gets a quote for, but she can't accept everyone. You have to turn down people.

Don't be upset you didn't make it! There will be more opportunities for you to get a suit from her in the future!
Just go, "oh I didn't make it, maybe next time!". Be positive!

I know how disappointing it is to be wanting something only to be turned down for it. I've been turned down my share of suit commissions, I know how you feel.

That's the spirit! Be optimistic! Look for other options when your first option fails.
