And what's wrong with the icon? I like it, it's unique.

Its unique but due to its historical significance: Its not known for protection. We need something that is FOR protection. I mean I come to the front page, and there are 4 shouts almost always going: WHy are you using that symbol? I didn't choose it, and I want the group to have some sort of say in all of this.

So its time to change.

Is there a specific theme that we are looking for in this? The new icon, of course. I can also do a little something on paper and run it trough a digital program. But, is there something specific we want based on the comments given?

Well its to represent our protection. A symbol that you FEEL would let anyone know that you are a Guardian.

Okay. It was an obvious one, but I was still going to ask if there was any concise mention about a theme or image. xD

I don't have access to a computer to make an icon but I do have an idea to contribute. What about drawing a shield with some sort of furry icon ( example a canine head ) on the front of it?

Its up to our artists. This is going to be their freedom. I do have a friend who is making me a TEMPORARY icon of a shield around beating heart.

I'm giving an idea to artists out there...because I happen to be one but can't draw it myself as I stated above...sheesh.

This is a good idea. Maybe a shepherd's crook can be incorporated as well.

In retrospect, me drawing anything right now would likely lean towards "the destroyer", rather than "the guardian" xD .... Still, I have a few ideas on what could work for this group.
