About Kitta's Current Home:

The roof over his head is severely leaking in multiple spots. The roof is falling apart due to prolonged water damage which caused excessive and potentially dangerous mold. The home insurance refused to pay to repair the hail damage years ago so there is no insurance anymore. Most of the actual wood left in his home is rotting away or warping due to the damage caused by water, mice, bugs/insects, and age. This is damage that his family and friends cannot afford to help get repaired or they simply choose to ignore since they feel that it is not their problem.

About Kitta:

His physical medical problems have gone on for at least 4 years. He has had some spotty employment as a temp until November of last year. He is now unable to work in most conventional jobs due to his foot injury and medical issues. Kitta's disability case has been denied twice, but it is still ongoing. Kitta had kept applying for other jobs that he can do with his injury and other medical issues but so far has had no luck. On top of it all, tomorrow kitta will have no health insurance and is unable to pay for his appointments or medicine out of pocket.

Kitta's Only Hope:

Kitta is faced with only one reasonable choice - give up and move out. His best bet is income based housing - $50/month. This is the rate if you have no income, and there is a waiting list.
