Russia, dear children. Russia.
Russia passed a unanimous bill that not only is anything pertaining to LGBT shit now banned from being discussed of, but now their orphaned children can't be adopted from countries that allow same-sex marriage.
You have no idea how nauseated, distraught, and defeated l am at the present. The largest country in the world has basically made all of it's LGBT citizens be subject to anti-gay actions of every manner, and the bill applauds this. Let's not mention that gays: can't give blood or organs, and if they die their hearts are to be "burnt or buried".
I don't even have the motivation to blame Christianity. I'll only end up losing friends, should l begin with what l'm aching to type, and l'll only end up feeling like a bigoted fuckwit like the majority of the people l so despise.

Sadly not a lot has changed, besides a newfound desire to make money and the same sort of pseudo-imperial ruling class that's risen up in the ashes of the old USSR.
