Some changes.

¤ I think it's time to run cause I'm seeing stars
I'm seeing stars watch me fall apart ¤
Well, here recently I have been making some major changes in my life...and these, for the most part, have been good. I've gotten a new car, bought my own car insurance, been told that I have an assistant manager job on lock, and I've been 'getting back to nature'. I've also allowed some people to come back into my life, and it's been amazing. I'm happy to say that my two year hiatus from the internet has made me a better person. I'm much more considerate of OTHER people's feelings and much more understanding that things I say as a joke DO actually hurt people. I've recently joined a group here that talks to children about bullying and the pain it causes to both other people and themselves. With going to therapy, I've learned to accept not everyone is going to like me, or agree with my choices -- but really I am the only one who has to.
I also have gotten into Pit Bull advocacy. Being an owner of a Pit Bull has opened my eyes dramatically with how cruel people can be, and it really brought things home in a sense. These dogs, this breed -- like myself -- often are portrayed as the "bad guy" or as being "guilty by default". It's hard to think that someone would blame a dog, who essentially has no control over ther actions of not taught otherwise, for a bad thing -- a mistake...but don't do the same for people. I KNOW I've done wrong in the past, and I will never deny that. But I've become a much better person. I have worked my ass off to be where I am. And, I think with that being said, this is what pushes me to fight for this highly misunderstood breed. (:
I've also been watching a lot of inspiring documentaries lately, and a lot of them have changed my life. They've opened my eyes and they've given me hope. They are all available on Netflix if you care to know what they are, just ask!
I had so much more to say on this, but I really need to get to sleep. I love you guys, and please remember to always consider the effect your actions/words will have on other people, whether you like them or not. Simply ask yourself, 'Would *I* want to hear/read/see this about me?' You can say 'I don't care' all you want -- but we all know the real answer.
Take Care! <3

Anyway, congratulations on the management position and the car :D As far as the pitbull thing... man, I feel you there. I have a boxer and people have thought he's a pitbull and they treat him like he's going to attack at any moment. He's had a kid literally shove his hand down his throat and my poor dog just looked around at everyone like "omg! halp!"
XD but yeah it's good to hear about these changes ^^ <3
Well said, sweetie.
