Or you get one of the special wierdos that goes waaaaaaaaaaay overboard and writes two paragraphs that somehow manage to make everyone else creepily uncomfortable.
What did you guys expect, when this site is p0rn in 70%, and in p0rn it is 55% ghey (random statistics, but just about right I think.)
Creepers gonna creep.
First off, what intrinsic property does pornography of the m/m and f/f variety have that the m/f does not? I see no reason to discriminate here, if you feel that porn attracts poor commenting then both forms will do so in equal strides.
Second your stats are way off. Speaking from someone who views a much larger sample size of this site I can tell you that porn is closer to the 35% mark. Also much to my own displeasure homoerotic porn is around the 40% mark.
Dimwitted comments aren't isolated to porn. You see just as many comments on general art.
Sometimes I don't have something specific to say. Sometimes it strikes a chord with me, and I don't know exactly why it is that I like it so much. Sometimes it's something that's just hard to put into words. I'm not an artist. I don't have a background in color theory, or line theory, or any artistic theory at all. I'm not going to be able to say anything about the technical aspect of shading, the use of contrasting colors, or any of that stuff. I'm not going to say things like, "the use of negative space in this piece evokes a feeling of isolation".
I stopped faving things except in rare occasions because I got tired of being attacked for faving without a comment, or having a comment that didn't really say anything beyond "I like this." I got tired of feeling like I had to defend my enjoyment of a piece. That I had to prove that I was worthy of having it as a favorite.
So, yeah, I cut down a lot on faving without commenting, by cutting down a lot on faving.
Dragons!
Creepers gonna creep.

Great stuff, haha. But don't forget about those lovely creepy comments.
Good find dude. ;P
